A favorite character of The Muppets is Kermit, the Frog. He has a long term relationship with Miss Piggy.
There is an understanding of love. However, Kermit admits that he has been somewhat of an outsider because of his color – GREEN. In his song, “It’s Not Easy Being Green,” written by Joe Raposo, Kermit sings that he blends in with so many ordinary things like leaves, ponds, and grass. No bright flashy sparkles for him. He then realizes that green is the coolness of a Spring breeze, tall like a giant oak tree, or calming like a mountain stream. At the end of the song Kermit sings “I am green and it’ll be fine, it’s beautiful.”
These words describe GREEN: peace, healing, quietness, renewal, balance, harmony, natural, and rest. God provides all of these to us.
God loves us no matter our color. He encourages us to love and share our inner beauty with others.
I John 4:7 states; “Beloved, let us love one another; for love is of God, and he who loves is of God and knows God.
