Fudge Pie

Janine's Christmas Fudge Pie:

1 cup sugar
3 TBLSP cocoa
½ cup flour
1 stick softened butter or margarine
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla

Melt butter. Beat eggs. Mix all ingredients by hand. Cook in a buttered pie plate for 20-25 minutes at 350°. Serve warm or cool. Can be frosted or served with ice cream. Frost when still warm.
*Garnishes: crushed peppermint

Janine’s Baking Notes:
For beginning bakers; mix eggs, vanilla, sugar together add butter, then blend flour and cocoa together then add to the wet mixture and stir. To double the recipe: use a buttered 9×13 pan. I use Betty Crocker Triple Chocolate Chip Fudge Icing (frosting) and Fleischman’s margarine.
