Christmas Poem

Christmas Love

Whenever we think of Christmas, thoughts turn to long ago. To a stable in Bethelem, and a story that we all know.

The young maiden had been told by an angel that she would bear a holy child, not knowing what this would mean.

She traveled for many miles with her betrothed for to be taxed, this was the order of the king, his rules he never laxed.

No room was found for them to sleep; in a stable her babe was born. Shepherds came to see the child, while it was not yet morn.

Today we still remember that night of long ago; The Savior of all mankind wants us our love to show.
