White Christmas

Everyone has their favorite Christmas movie. Mine happens to be “White Christmas” with Bing Crosby, Rosemary Cloony, and Danny Kaye. I watch it every year. In Tennessee, we rarely have a white Christmas. However, when it does snow, it is magical. Seeing the snowflakes gently falling in quiet beauty is like a dream. Or waking up to a new fallen snow on Christmas morning is so exciting. Snow, presents, snow angels, and hot chocolate with marshmallows gives Christmas a special joy.

Can you imagine the dreams that Mary and Joseph had approaching the birth of their son, Jesus. What wonder they must have had in following their hearts and obeying God.  His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, Prince of Peace, Lord of Lords, and King of Kings. The dream of nations to come.

Matthew 1:20,21, and 23 (King James): Behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. They shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

May the joy, love, and peace of Chrismas remain in your heart throughout the year.

Please continue to pray for the US military as they protect America and the world.
