Dear God, at the start of a new year, may you bless new beginnings for our lives, family, friends, community, and world. You are the Prince of Peace. Grant us peace during this winter season that we may rest and renew our faith. Surround us in your loving warmth, knowing that we shall never walk alone in the darkness. Even in the dark days of winter, you will shine a light of hope upon us. Thank you Lord for giving us a loving heart. May we continue to share acts of kindness towards others throughout the year.
