Heaven's Valentine
On this special day that's known for love, the greatest Valentine was sent from above.
God sent His only Son to save us from sin, that was before holidays did begin.
The colors of this time are red and white, both are hues that are really bright.
They each symbolize that first Valentine,
as God says, "Won't you please be Mine?"
The red is Christ's blood shed for you, without that gift, whatever would we do?
It is a bright red, filled with life, but was shed to save us from sin and strife.
The white is symbolic of all that is pure, for sin's sickness it is the one cure.
There are no other colors purity to stain, we have nothing to lose, everything to gain.
