These are super easy and a quick special dessert for Valentine’s Day.
Fresh Strawberries (make sure they have the leaves, for holding)
Dipping Chocolate (it comes in a microwaveable container)
various toppings: nuts, toffee, chocolate chips
Lay out the strawberries on a cookie sheet with parchment or wax paper.
Melt the chocolate according to the directions, be sure it does not get too hot or it will not set. If you cannot find the container chocolate, you can melt any chocolate either in a double boiler or in the microwave, if using the microwave do it on 30 second intervals to keep the chocolate from getting to hot.
Dip the strawberries, one at a time, into the chocolate, covering almost up to the leaves. Wipe excess off on the edge to help create a flat bottom.
After dipping 3 or 4 strawberries, add whatever topping you want.
When finished, refrigerate until about 30 minutes before enjoying.
