Chocolate-Dipped Everything

In honor of Valentine’s Day, I have gone with a quick and easy chocolate dessert that will look really impressive.

Ingredients:
White Chocolate chips
Semi-sweet Chocolate chips
Dried Fruit (banana chips, Pineapple chips, apricots)
Fresh Fruit (strawberries, raspberries, apple slices, cherries with the stems)
Oreos
Nuts (truly an assortment)

Directions:
Line a cookie sheet with wax paper. Set out the food you intend to dip, if it is fresh fruit make sure it is dry or the chocolate will not stick.
Put about 4 ounces of chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl. On half power melt the chocolate in 20 seconds increments. Do not get the chocolate too hot, you should always be able to touch it, it should just be warm to the touch.
Stir the chocolate between each increment in order to get the chocolate smooth.
Once smooth, start to dip. Hold the item with just two fingers and submerge as much as you can into the chocolate. Scrape one side on the edge of the bowl to clean off any extra chocolate.
Continue until you have the desired amount. If needed, you can reheat the chocolate to finish your project.
Once completed, put the cookie tray in the refrigerator or freezer to allow the chocolate to set up.
Enjoy!
