Be BOLD and dramatic using black accents on your Valentine table. We started with a red tablecloth, then added a black charger, white dinner plate and a red heart shaped salad plate. The luscious cupcake, as well as our red napkins, is wrapped with a black, lacy-looking cupcake wrapper (available from Oriental Trading). A black napkin (yes, it's okay to have more than one napkin) rests in the beverage glass, and frosted scatter stones tossed around the setting add a wintry look. Our place/name cards are simple, glittery, inexpensive mini picture frames, and we added a touch of whimsy with a tiny beaded heart box. Consider elevating your cupcakes — we used a glass candleholder only two inches high, but oh, what a statement!!
